Muzzle-Loaders™ Inline Hunter Kit – Essentials for Inline Muzzleloaders
Intro
When you first get into muzzleloading you realize pretty quickly that there are more things you need than just the muzzleloader itself. Compared to the centerfire world it may feel like you need a separate backpack to carry the accessories needed to muzzleloader hunt. While it may feel this way that isn’t true!
Most of the feeling of being overwhelmed comes from not knowing what accessories are necessary and which ones aren’t. Once you narrow it down to only the basics things get a lot easier and make more sense.
That’s why we created the Muzzle-Loaders™ Inline Hunter Kit. To take the guess work out of the process of choosing accessories for your inline muzzleloader. This kit comes with all of the accessories needed to use and maintain your rifle while out in the field.
In this article we will cover all of the accessories included in the kit and breakdown their use and functionality.
Waist Pouch
To carry the items included in this kit we have selected out Muzzle-Loaders™ Waist Possibles Bag. All of the accessories that we are about to cover will fit directly into the Waist Possibles Bag. The bag has built in belt loops so you can wear it and keep all of your items within reach. It’s built out of durable nylon so it’s not something you have to worry about falling apart and is ready for the range or to hunt.
Bullet Starter
One of the most essential pieces of muzzleloader gear is a bullet starter. When loading a bullet, the first couple of inches can be the most challenging, so you want a starter that is shorter than main ramrod. This allows you to get more leverage on the projectile when loading, and it protects the main ramrod from snapping. In the kit we include a polymer bullet starter that also comes with 6 loading jags that screw directly into the bullet starter itself. The jags accommodate any bullet you may be using whether it is a conical style ballistic tip, hollow point, or a lead roundball. The polymer material is also very durable so you won’t have to worry about it breaking while you are using it.
4 In 1 T-Loaders
Also included in the kit are three of our 4 in 1 T-Loaders which are a type of speed loader making it easier to load your muzzleloader. This loader features four tools to help do that.
First is the powder measure function. On the side of the T-Loader there is a volumetric marking system so you can measure and store your loads in one spot. The max capacity is 140 grains by volume. This will also work for using pellets if you choose to use those instead of loose powder.
Another feature included is a ¾” bullet starter that is built in on the side of the loader for getting bullets started down the barrel. Although the kit already comes with its own bullet starter mentioned above this can be handy in case you don’t have your bullet starter with you.

The next feature on the T-Loader is a recessed hole that allows the end of a ramrod to slide into it so it can serve as a palm saver when loading bullets. If you have ever tried to load a bullet without a palm saver or T handle then you know the importance of having one. The blunt end of the ramrod will press into your hand while you push the bullet down which hurts and makes reloading more difficult.
On the opposite end of the powder storage compartment is a bullet compartment. This allows you to store your bullet in its own space and keeps things organized to help streamline the reloading process.
Maintenance Items
In this kit we include maintenance items including a 4” extension jag that screws onto your ramrod/range rod and allows you to clean and load your muzzleloader. It has a knurled end so it will grip cleaning patches and a concaved tip for loading most bullets.
We also include our Muzzle-Loaders™ Multi-Tool, this allows you to install and remove your breech plug and firing pin, while also doubling as a 209 primer capper/decapper.
In case you experience a miss fire or your fire channel gets plugged we also include a brass nipple pick. It has a fine piece of wire stored with in it that slides out and is small enough to fit into the fire channel of a breech plug and help clear out any obstructions.
Also included is a 100 pack of dry cotton cleaning patches. These come in handy for cleaning your muzzleloader between shots or if you need to wipe down a dirty breech plug and can be saturated with muzzleloader cleaning solvent for a deeper clean at the end of the day.
Wrap Up
This kit has been thoughtfully designed with the beginning muzzleloader hunter in mind. Compiling all of the essential accoutrements that you will need while out in the field with your muzzleloader. Its all in one setup helps take the guesswork out of buying what you may or may not need and helps keeps things organized while out in field.
