New CVA™ Muzzleloaders for 2020
2019 was a noteworthy year for the CVA line, with the introduction of the Paramount muzzleloader. This gun took the industry by storm and had incredible demand. New for 2020, CVA has announced several great new products, the CVA Paramount Pro .45 and .50 caliber muzzleloaders, the CVA Paramount Muzzle Brake, threaded muzzles to the standard Paramount line, and new look and camo patterns to the Accura lines, as well as a new .50 caliber PowerBelt ELR bullet for the Paramount Pro.
CVA Paramount Pro
Let’s start off with the most noteworthy and eye-catching new muzzleloader, the CVA Paramount Pro. This muzzleloader takes the standard Paramount to a whole new level, offering a CeraKote finish, Greyboe Stock, and TriggerTech trigger. This gun looks extremely sharp and will shoot sub-MOA groups at ranges out to 400 yards. New for 2020, CVA is introducing the Paramount Pro in both .45 and .50 caliber options, but both featuring the fast 1:22” twist rate. The Greyboe Terrain stock on the Paramount Pro is extremely comfortable and features multiple sling mounting points, as well as a great recoil pad. One of the more unique features of the Paramount Pro is that CVA has added a CeraKote finish to the Nitride-treated barrel, giving this gun unparalleled durability. If you’re looking for the ultimate muzzleloader in 2020, the CVA Paramount Pro is the gun for you!
CVA Paramount Muzzle Brake
In the past, muzzle brakes had not been used extensively on muzzleloaders, because of the difficulty loading and cleaning, as well as the moderate recoil on most muzzleloaders. With the faster ignition on the CVA Paramount muzzleloaders and recoil feeling more like a centerfire rifle, CVA has released the Paramount Muzzle Brake after consumer requests. This muzzle brake is simple to install and features a larger first port, to allow easier removal of cleaning patches. This accessory will be a great addition to the 2020 Paramounts, as all CVA Paramounts and Paramount Pros will now offer threaded muzzles. Also, this muzzle brake will be offered in both .45 and .50 caliber configurations, with different thread pitches to ensure that the correct brake is going on the muzzle of your gun.
CVA Accura Muzzleloader Updates
The CVA Accura muzzleloaders have been the top-selling muzzleloader for the past 5 years, and with the features and value that these guns offer, it is easy to see why. New for 2020, CVA has upgraded several of these popular models with CeraKote finishes and new camo patterns. A unique thing to these CVA muzzleloaders, the Nitride barrels have a CeraKote finish to give additional protection and a better look.
CVA Accura V2 LR Updates
The CVA Accura V2 Long Range has the newest look of the line, with the CeraKote finish on the barrel, with Veil camo. The look of this new combination is definitely eye-catching, as well as will blend in better in the woods. CVA will offer this new look in both the .45 and .50 caliber Accura V2 LR muzzleloader in 2020.
CVA Accura MR & PR Updates
The CVA Accura MR and PR will both keep the Realtree Max-1 camo pattern but will be offered with the CeraKote finish on the barrels and receivers. While still maintaining the Nitride coating in the bore, the additional CeraKote finish on the exterior will provide better protection, as well as blend in better while out in the field.
In summary, CVA has added some great new options in 2020. The CVA Paramount was the most talked-about muzzleloader in years, and we believe that the Paramount Pro will be another great addition. While not every muzzleloader hunter needs a long-range muzzleloader, the Wolf, Optima, and Accura lines are still some of the best muzzleloaders on the market, and certainly have their individual strengths.
