Traditions Performance Firearms has released their 2021 lineup of inline and traditional muzzleloaders. Last year, Traditions revealed the innovative NitroFire muzzleloader, alongside the Federal FireStick. This year, Traditions has revealed a refresh to many of their inline muzzleloaders with an upgraded trigger in the Buckstalker models, alongside a faster twist rate in the Pursuit and Vortek muzzleloaders.
CVA™ has announced the addition of .40 caliber muzzleloader rifles to their 2021 lineup. By offering a .40 caliber muzzleloader, CVA has been able to engineer a PowerBelt ELR bullet with an incredibly high ballistic coefficient, leaving the muzzle at over 2,800 feet per second.
In 2019 CVA is ready to introduce the .45 Caliber version of the Accura V2 LR or “Long Range” model. The .50 caliber version of the LR rifle was met with rave reviews from hunters and muzzleloader shooters all across the country. The .45 Caliber Accura LR is designed to be the most accurate muzzleloader CVA has ever offered. The new .45 cal LR boasts a new faster 1:22 twist rate, a 30 inch, nitride-coated Bergara barrel, which gives the shooter accurate shot groupings up to, and in excess of 300 yards.
This year, manufacturers are looking to ‘Make Muzzleloading Great Again’, with a slew of new models to choose from. Traditions added several great new models in their inline, traditional, and pistol selection, as well as an awesome new cannon. CVA is introducing a new Accura, as well as expanded Nitride further in their lineup. Thompson Center and Lyman have not included any new models for 2017, and both have chosen to keep all 2016 models as well.
New for 2020, CVA has announced several great new products, the CVA Paramount Pro .45 and .50 caliber muzzleloaders, the CVA Paramount Muzzle Brake, threaded muzzles to the standard Paramount line, and new look and camo patterns to the Accura lines, as well as a new .50 caliber PowerBelt ELR bullet for the Paramount Pro.

Introduced at the 2017 SHOT Show, the CVA® Optima V2 Long Range™ Muzzleloader features a 30" Nitride coated barrel. The longer barrel provides the Optima LR™ with increased muzzle velocities and greater accuracy at longer distances.
Introduced at the 2017 SHOT Show, the CVA™ Wolf Nitride Muzzleloader features 24" Nitride coated barrel which was previously only available on higher priced rifles. When budget is taken into consideration, the CVA Wolf is a clear leader, however, we are jazzed about the fact that CVA added a Wolf Nitride for 2017.
